Audio Converter

Convert audio files between MP3, WAV, OGG, and other formats with quality control.

How to Use This Tool

  1. Upload an audio or video file using the file picker or drag and drop.
  2. Select the desired output audio format.
  3. Choose a bitrate (higher = better quality but larger file).
  4. Set the sample rate or use auto-detect.
  5. Click 'Convert Audio' and wait for processing.
  6. Download the converted audio file when ready.

How It Works

Audio conversion uses FFmpeg's audio codec libraries. The bitrate determines the amount of data per second of audio: 128kbps is acceptable for speech, 192kbps is standard for music, and 320kbps is near-lossless for MP3. Sample rates of 44.1kHz match CD quality, and 48kHz is standard for video.
