How to Use This Tool

  1. Enter race distance in km.
  2. Enter target time in minutes.
  3. Get pace per km and speed in mph.

The Formula

Pace = Time / Distance. Speed = Distance / Time.

Why It Matters

You are training for a half marathon (13.1 miles) wanting to finish under 2 hours (9:09/mile pace). At this pace, mile 5 should be 45:27, mile 10 should be 1:30:54. Being 30 seconds behind at mile 10 means picking up to 8:48/mile.
