How to Use This Tool

The Formula

Split Time = (Target Time / Distance) × Split Distance.

Why It Matters

You are running a 10K race wanting to finish in 50 minutes. Splitting the race into 5 checkpoints (every 2K), each segment takes 10:00. At checkpoint 3 (6K), your split should be 30:00. 30 seconds behind means speeding up by ~6 seconds per km.
